Welcome/Bienvenue! My name is Jason Marquis, and I welcome you to Reclaim Your Hope psychotherapy. I practice psychotherapy virtually in Ontario and many provinces across Canada. I offer sessions in English or French. My personal struggles and passion for helping others have guided me to this field, and I feel fortunate to practice in a field that allows me to utilize past lessons and current learnings to help others.

 

My educational background is quite diverse, ranging from studies in management and religion to mental health. With regard to my professional background, my years in management and supervision have allowed me to better understand the rudiments of a good work/life balance as well as the importance of communication and setting boundaries. Throughout my career, I have remained deeply committed to treating everyone equally and making sure that everyone had a voice and felt heard. In addition to my passion for mental health, I am also an avid sports enthusiast who also enjoys music, training, and discovering new places while searching for antiques and collectibles.  

THERAPEUTIC STYLE

I favour an eclectic approach that leans towards a positive and motivating therapeutic style that can be tailored to your needs and allows us to work in a personalized manner. I also strive to create a warm, safe, and inviting non-judgmental space where you can feel seen, heard, and understood. I incorporate techniques from evidence-based practices grounded in research such as cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioural therapy (DBT), solution-focused therapy (SFT), attachment-based family therapy (ABFT), as well as humanistic approaches. If spirituality/faith is an integral part of your life, it would be my pleasure to incorporate this aspect into the treatment plan. Drawing from my life experiences and professional background, I strive to create a comforting and enthusiastic environment for my clients, empowering them to identify their strengths as they work towards personal growth and healing. 

 

I believe that everyone has the ability to transform their hardships and current struggles into learning experiences that will help them grow and reclaim their hope for a better future. It would be my pleasure to walk with you along this healing journey.

Individual session (50 minutes) : $150.00 per session
Individual extended session (80 minutes) : $215.00 per session

 

Insurance Plans

Most insurance plans cover psychotherapy! You'll receive a receipt after your session to submit for reimbursement. (Please verify with your insurance company to confirm that your plan covers psychotherapy services). 

Sliding Scale 

Possibility of a sliding scale fee structure to accommodate clients with various financial needs.
